As mothers, we often struggle to see ourselves beyond the role of being a mom. That’s why, This month we aimed to help our moms view themselves as more than just moms and to highlight their inner beauty, allowing them to feel as beautiful on the outside as they are within. With the assistance of local cosmetologists, our moms had the opportunity to sit and have their hair and makeup done. After their pampering, we arranged for their pictures to be taken. Each mom had a sparkle in her eye, and each image captured her individual personality. They shared that it was the first time in a long time that they had looked at themselves and felt beautiful, and that they were grateful for the chance to have these pictures taken. This moms’ group was filled with laughter, some happy tears, and memories that they will cherish.
